Make a Student Inactive
To remove students from the Kiosk, All Students, and Checked In pages, simply uncheck the checkbox for that student on the Edit Students page. This action takes place immediately and does not require the page to be reloaded. This does not remove the student or any of their activity from the database. By re-checking their checkbox, they will return to the app with all history intact.
When the page is loaded, all of the checkboxes correlate to a student being "active" (checkbox checked) or "inactive" (checkbox unchecked) so you can see this all at a glance.
If you are importing new lists of students daily or weekly, on the Add Students page you can click the "Reset student list" checkmark before submitting the form to automatically make all students, other than those being imported, inactive. That way only students that are expected to be present will be on the Kiosk, which will keep the dropdown and the rest of the app nice and tidy without superfluous data.
